Hans-Joachim Roedelius & Jurij Novoselic in 'Happy Kitchen'
German electronic music legend Hans-Joachim Roedelius, with a discography of more than 80 releases, has been active in music for over thirty years. He is a pioneer in electronic music, not least for his collaborations with such prominent musicians/composers/producers as Peter Baumannn, Dieter Moebius, Conny Plank and Michael Rother. He has founded several groups, most notably Kluster/Cluster and Harmonia. Over his prolific career, Roedelius’s musical output has covered a great deal of sonic territory and emotional range: from deeply introspective to rhythmically dancey, from experimental improvisations to heart felt vignettes, Roedelius is a musician of depth and breadth. His influence on the genre of electronic music will be felt for many years. Web site: www.roedelius.com

He is a tanned slim figure of a man, in his late 50s, dressed in a crisp white suit and pink tie with a smile and oozing charisma that could light up a damp cardboard box. Louie Austen has been around for longer than you may realise. He has leaped from a thriving lobby singer à la Frank Sinatra at Vienna’s Hilton Hotel to one of the most exhilarating performers dance music currently has to offer, now, over the last years, performing many times a year across the globe, from intimate filthy electro clubs through to 10,000 capacity arenas. Louie’s free spirit, his passion for life and performing fascinates his audience from young to old. The album ‘Hear My Song: the Best of Louie Austen’ will be released on Tirk records shortly. Horstmann, Wiedmann, Daneck
HORSTMANN _ WIEDMANN _ DANECK, a trio with the unusual instrumentation of two guitars and drums, have created an original soundscape in which musical roles are constantly being exchanged within the ensemble. The guitarists move back and forth between melodic lines, chordal accompaniment, bass lines, and improvised solos, and the drummer, rather than being misused as a mere metronome, is a full member of the ensemble, controlling the frequently-changing textures as much as the guitarists.
